  Taylor is a best-kept secret. The Washingtonian featured her as a top-notch stylist for shorter cuts after she studied at Vidal Sassoon. When Taylor was still at her salon in Maryland (Alchemy), she had a *huge* book of business. Sadly, she needed to relocate to Virginia. A girlfriend and I followed her all the way out to to the new salon. Taylor is still her terrific self, and the salon is pleasant, relaxing, and ultra-professional.
  I know how tough it is to try a new stylist, so here is my experience with Taylor:
  * My friend is a corporate lawyer who loves the quick-styled shorter cuts Taylor can consistently provide. She gets a perfect cut, every time. Taylor understands that my friend needs a cut that lasts.
  * I am more fussy. I want natural looking blonde highlights, sometimes with lowlights to balance me after too much sun. I'm picky, picky, picky. I have fired my share of stylists.
